I just recently bought the 50mm f1.2L lens and am officially in love with it. I was missing out big time! This baby is not leaving my side again.

I often get asked what is “in my bag”. These days it seems to be getting heavier and heavier. Talking to a friend/colleague the other day we were lamenting the fact that once we think we have everything we want (and need)….we inevitably find one more thing that we MUST add to our arsenal. For me, it was the 50 1.2. When I shoot a wedding I bring everything in my bag..literally. I have an awesome rolling Tamrac bag that keeps everything safe and snug. On portrait and engagement shoots I just bring 2 camera bodies and 2-3 lenses in my Kelly Moore Bag. It’s much easier to get around with!

So, as of today, here is what I am armed with:

Cameras:
Canon 5D Mark II
2 Canon 5D’s
Nikon F5 film camera w/24 f1.4 lens
*random toy film cameras and 100 GB’s worth of CF cards

Lenses:
Canon 50mm f/1.2L
Canon 35mm f/1.4L
Canon 85mm f/1.2L II
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS
Canon 100mm Macro f/2.8

Lighting:
2 Canon 580EX II’s
2 Canon 580EX’s
Pocket Wizard Plus II Transceiver/Receivers
Sunpak flash (for off camera lighting during receptions)
Sony video light
Light stand/tripod
*Plus a ton of re-chargeable batteries!
