Kristen and Matt were married Saturday at Ft Belvoir. I really enjoyed spending time with them. They are such a sweet, loving kind couple. I hope you guys are having a fab time in St John!

I’m very excited to say that Mark and Amanda’s wedding from last year is in the Fall/Winter issue of The Knot(click HERE to see the original blog post).

Sharon and Pete are our friends and neighbors. Joey’s known Pete since high school so it was funny when we moved in and realized they lived right across the street! I was so happy to hear Sharon was expecting, and I have to thank her for graciously putting up with my crazy ideas for these photos. So thanks Sharon!

We went to a few places around Centreville, some pretty, some pretty nasty, but they all had amazing light!

Martin from the fabulous videography company Blue Sky Films sent me an umbrella that reveals a beautiful bue sky when you open it. It came just in time for the shoot so we had to use it. Thanks Martin, your rock!!

You may remember little Ally from last winters portrait session (click HERE to see them). How cute is she!! She is now talking and running all over the place! It’s so much fun to see how kids personalities develop over time. We had a blast playing at the park, in the backyard, and of course at home!
