I’ve been meaning to blog this rockin party for a while now. Navigant Consulting has an annual company party that I’ve had the pleasure to photograph for the past two years. It was great to see many of the same faces, and see some new ones as well. Julie McKillip works for Navigant and is the talent behind putting this whole shebang together (with some help of course!). Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Sarah & Brandon’s engagement session in the amazing weather we’ve been having. They will be getting married in New Orleans in April, how cool is that! Brandon is from ‘nahlens’ (is that how you’re supposed to say it?), so it was fitting to wed there.

They wanted an engagement location that would reflect the rustic/colorful/delapidated look that you might find there, and I think we found it in Old Town Manassas.

Sarah & Brandon, I had a such a great time hanging out with you! These are some of my favorite engagement shots I have ever taken, so thanks!

My baby is two years old, I can’t believe it! I remember perfectly the day we chose her when she was only 8 weeks old. She was so sweet and loving! Now she is still sweet and loving (sometimes), but much more, um, hyperactive!
