I am so excited to share this post with you all. I traveled to Delaware two weekends ago to shoot the wonderful wedding of Maria and Michael. It was even more fun because my friend Laura tagged along to shoot with me. I had an absolute blsat with them in Richmond for their engagement session, so I knew their wedding would be nothing short of fabulous! Man was I right!

after the ceremony we went to a near-by farm house for some photos before heading to the country club for the reception. it had a lot of fun nooks and crannies and we got a lot of different shots in about 10 minutes!

I was floored at the special details and touches they made to the ballroom. remember the stumps from the ceremony? well their smaller friends made appearances at the place-card table and also each dinner table as a centerpiece holder. so clever!!

I love sunsets. When we were in California back in January it was like an evening event. If you’re in Laguna people stop what they are doing to watch as the sun disappears into the sea. It’s totally worth it there!

I haven’t been able to get all the trips photos off my point and shoot camera because the battery died at the end of it, and I coudldn’t find my charger. 3 months later I finally bite the bullet and order a new charger. Guess what I find the day before my little B&H package arrives…..the stupid charger! That is just so me! Anyways, I thought I would share two sunset photos with you that I took while we where there. I love them so.

I am a bad blogger! Last Saturday officially kicked off the wedding season for me (yay!), so there will be a lot of yummy eye candy coming up! I hope to have last weeks amazing DE wedding posted tomorrow.

So, in the meantime, here are a couple of random things that don’t deserve their own posts.

I have decided to add my website address to all my blog images. This will let people who see my photos through other locations (facebook, etc.), know where they can find me! I also like the way it looks!

When my clients wedding albums show up at my front door, it feels like Christmas!! I get so excited and dig it out of the box as fast as I can. I try to remember to take a photo of it before I send them back out, but sometimes (most of the time!), I forget. Here is the latest to arrive. It is a 12×10 horizontal matted album, with ivory mats, white liner, white leather cover and a gold monogram. The B&G also ordered the matching slipcover to protect their investment. These are now available to all my clients. I have 100% transitioned to a new album company, and they ROCK. The options are endless, and I can’t wait to show off the new samples I’ve recently ordered. I’ll definitely post up a bunch of pics when they come in.

AND, last but not least, this is what I get all day long while I work in my office. ALL. DAY. LONG!

She is VERY needy. but SO DAMN CUTE!!!

Michelle + Steven are such rockstars! They are so sweet and kind, you can’t meet a nicer couple. We met at their alma mater, George Mason, for some dressed up shots around campus. I hadn’t been there in many, many years and it had changed quite a bit, but we managed to find a lot of awesome nooks for photos. I absolutely love how they turned out and I hope you all do too!

My awesome clients Maria + Michael included a 10×10 custom guestbook in their wedding collection. I think this is such a cool way to display your engagement photos. Instead of a plain book where guests just write their names, you have a whole album full of gorgeous photos that your family & friends can check out, and write special messages in. I love it!
