Michelle and Steven were married June 27th at St. Bernadettes Catholic Church in Alexandria with the reception following at the Sheraton National Hotel. They are such a sweet and loving couple. Their personalities compliment one another so beautifully. The tender way Steven quietly looks at Michelle….even when she looking away or talking to someone, it just makes my heart warm! You guys are the best! Michelle, I hope this was worth the wait!

There are quite a few getting ready photos. I just couldn’t resist, there are so many I love!

Michelles mom had the dining room decked out in the weddingcolors which was perfect for me! Steven sent her a note and the moment she opened it the tears began. She decided to hold onto it and read it later alone.

the flowers were just stunning. Petals Edge rocked it out, as per usual!!

talking to her groomy!

beautiful programs greeting us at the church

here is a small taste of their portrait session downtown at the Jefferson..

and their Wii character cake topper :)

Part two of Michelle and Jason’s fabulous Cape May wedding at Congress Hall, yay! Sorry for the delay folks! We ended the last post with the ceremony so now we are on to the portraits and reception! Enjoy!!

one last kiss after walking down the aisle as husband and wife

congrats and kisses

when a couple provides parasols for the guests, it’s a law that you must photograph the b&g with one as well :)

Jason’s grandma made all the groomsmens vests by herself! Each one had a funky-cool lining and a patch that says:

I can’t remember what that means though – something about West VA? Jason, remind me! :)

love the shoes and socks!

John Denvers “thank God I’m a Country Boy” happened to be playing while we were taking the guys shoe shot, so they had to have some fun :)

i hope you all love the portraits as much as i do!

the reception room was just fantastic. i love the modern chic colors and style. LOVE IT!

i adore the table-name plants for each guest!

Michelle and her Dad’s dance started off sweet as can be, and ended up….

AWESOME! the bridesmaids came out to join and did a fab rehearsed dance

their DJ (dj polo) is a dear friend so he was a guest and the dj!

another law, when Alan Greenspan is a guest at your wedding you dance with him! :)

congrats again you two, you rock my world!!

Holly : ( Aug 25th - 19:55 ) Love everything about this wedding! Escpecially the shoes - any idea where she got them?

Finally! I know I’ve been teasing you all with this wedding, sorry about that! :)

Michelle and Jason were married in Cape May, NJ, on June 20th. I was so honored to be a part of this loving couples wedding day. They are so kind and sincere. When I first met them, I knew we were a good match!

Their venue, Congress Hall was across from the beach, so up my alley, pretty much the coolest venue I’ve been to.

all the details of this wedding were just stunning. the dress, jewelry, guys outfits, reception room. the PEOPLE. everything.

Michelle getting help with the final touches from her Mom and her maid of honor…

and the bridesmaids seeing her ready for the first time. i love their reactions!!

you could see the ceremony location from the suites balcony, it was moved off the lawn because of the rain. I loved how intimate it was under the patio, it was perfect.

a bit more prep time…

and some champagne..

i love how her dress tied with tulle at the neckline, so chic!

a quick portrait outside the room and then it was time to head down for the ceremony!

parasols, fans, and perfect programs

i love how when she is looking at the reader, he is looking at her. so sweet! :)

laughs and tears during their handwritten vows

coming back up the aisle for photos, loev it!

to be continued………

Terra Dawn : ( Jul 17th - 20:56 ) I think I would seriously die of happiness if I walked into the getting ready room and saw all of that color!!   The pink, blue and green are just stunning!!  I love that the bride´s shoes match the flower girl´s sash and the bridesmaid´s dress.  So precious!!!   I can´t wait to see the rest!  Megan Beth : ( Jul 17th - 01:17 ) GAH!!! TBC??? I´m dying over here.  I adore this wedding, you did an amazing job.  Every little detail looks so very perfect!  Ashley : ( Jul 16th - 22:08 ) This bride didn´t miss one detail! What phenominal photos!!

I met up with Nicole and Eli a couple of weeks ago on one of the hottest days thus far this summer. Now there haven’t been that many scorching hot days in DC this year, but man, I seem to always get the days that are! Despite the heat we had a great time chatting about their upcoming wedding at the Museum of Women in the Arts, and just getting to know each other better. We started at the Jefferson, walked the tidal basin, and headed toward the Museum of Natural History. I am really excited for their wedding this fall with wedding planner (and my friend!), Pam Barefoot.

enjoy the photos!

see you guys soon!
