I know I know, I am a bad blogger!
This shoot was a labor of love and I can’t thank the people involved enough. You may remember Maria and Michael from their wedding back in April. We didn’t have a lot of time for b+g portraits on their wedding day, so I wanted to do another shoot to give them lots of lovely images. They were up for anything and gave me free creative reign.
Enter Vicki of My Simple Details. When I saw a pic of Vicki’s vintage blue truck, I knew it had to be in the shoot. I asked her if she wanted to be a part of planning this shoot, and she was! Barbara, the amazingly talented + creative florist behind Growing Wild, was not only willing to hook us up with some flowers, but also hooked us up with her FARM! All the pieces were coming together nicely. The day of the shoot we had perfect weather, with a yummy golden sunset to give me the glow I needed to complete the look. It couldn’t have gone more beautifully!

The vintage RC Cola machine was compliments of Vicki’s Dad. Thanks Vicki’s Dad!

Barbara has HORSES! They were so beautiful and fit perfectly into the shoot if I do say so myself.

If you want to do a shoot if your wedding gear, or just a fun, themed portrait shoot, send me an email. Let’s chat!

Carrie and Patrick were married July 17th at theHyatt in Dulles. It’s been so long they have already received all their images from me, but that doesn’t mean they don’t get a blog post!
Here you go you two crazy love birds!

congrats you two!

Hi Everyone! As you can see, I have been absent from the blog for weeks. It’s easy in the summer to drag a bit and put some things on the back-burner. Blogging became one of those things! I have still been working my butt off so there are lots of posts coming up. I promise to keep up with this now that fall is almost upon us! My blog is undergoing a face-lift, so pay no attention to the weird header/design I’ve got going on now. It will be all new soon!
Kara and Ernie were married on August 29th. I am just now getting around to posting their engagement session which we did just a couple of weeks before their wedding. Ernie travels like, all – the – time. Trying to plan the session was difficult to say the least! We had a great time walking around Old Town Fairfax City chatting about their upcoming nuptuals.
I am very sad to say Ernie’s dad just passed away. My heart goes out to him and his family. I am happy he was able to share in their beautiful wedding day.
