Meet Olive. She is the adorable daughter of my old friend Leah. We met in junior high and had a lot of fun together! When I saw photos of her baby on facebook, I knew I had to photograph her. She is so cute, just cute and cheek pinachable! I love facebook, it is the best reconnecting tool!

Back in August, I flew into San Luis Obisbo (SLO, as the locals call it) to visit my friend Amy and her family. It was so nice to get away from the craziness of wedding season, although being away from Joey was hard! But spending quality time with Amy was priceless! I so wish we lived closer to one another!!

One day we went to Avila Valley Farms on our way from the beach. It was a quaint market/farm that was too adorable for words!

We also did a family shoot on a friend of a friends land, which is beautifully landscaped. I under-estimated shooting into the CA sun. Wow, it is a bit more intense there!

Kim and John were married September 5th at St. Bernadette’s church with their reception held at Ft. Belvoir Officer’s Club. Duriung their engagement Kim was working in Iowa, so I was very excited to meet her and John for the first time on their wedding day. I quickly saw that they are a kind and fun loving couple and had an awesome time shooting the day!

Kara + Ernie were married at the Grand Lodge in MD on August 28th. The bride was stunning, the groom handome, and the details were flawless.
