Kara and Dan are getting married soon, yay! They are such a sweet and fun-loving couple, I had such a great time walking around the National Zoo with them. They are lucky enough to live in walking distance so it has a special meaning to them. Most of the animals were off to sleep by the time we got there, but I don’t think I will ever forget what we saw the baby elephant do that day. It is burned into my brain forever! 
I can’t wait for your wedding in October!

This is a gorgeous set of photos, Kate! The zoo was the perfect spot. And only you could make a tarped fence, construction equipment and orange cones look so beautiful!

these are so sweet! you have an amazing eye for composition at wide angles and pick the best backgrounds, all while keeping them the focus of the shot. love all of these

i think the natl. zoo was a fantastic place for a session, and you made the most of it. great work, kate! i really loved these.
